This site is a static reference site. It does not run user accounts, advertising networks, or analytics trackers, and it does not sell or share personal information.

No tracking cookies are set. The cookie notice shown on the home page records your choice using a single value in your browser's local storage so the notice does not reappear. That value stays on your device and is not transmitted anywhere. Clearing your browser storage removes it and the notice will appear again.
The contact form
The contact form on the home page runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the form simulates a confirmation locally and clears the fields; it does not send the information to a server, and no message is stored or delivered. If you email the address listed on the site directly, your email will be handled by the relevant email provider in the ordinary way.
External links and images
Pages link to third-party reference sites and load images hosted on Wikimedia Commons. Those services have their own privacy practices, and requests your browser makes to them are subject to their policies, not this one.
Children
The content is general reference material and is not directed at children. No information is knowingly collected from anyone.
